REVIVA™ HAIR INGREDIENTS

The Formula consists of 8 ingredients, these ingredients may however be
separated into four groups:

  • Group 1 (DHT BLOCKERS)
  • Group 2 (Improving blood circulation to the scalp)
  • Group 3 (Essential nutrients)
  • Group 4 (Regulates oil build up)

GROUP ONE – (DHT BLOCKERS)

Serenoa repens and Beta-sitosterol:
In the field of research Serenoa repens berry extract and Beta-sitosterol have both demonstrated to be successful in inhibiting DHT receptor sites in the hair follicle.

Unlike other 5AR inhibitors, Serenoa repens induces its effects without interfering with the cellular capacity to secrete PSA.

Beta-sitosterol is a mixture of phytosterols, phytosterols have anti-androgenic properties. This is the substance that not only has the capability of blocking DHT but also assists in lowering 5AR levels. High 5AR gives rise to DHT production and causes an imbalance in cholesterol levels.

GROUP TWO – (IMPROVING THE BLOOD CIRCULATION TO THE SCALP)

Ginkgo biloba and Eleutherocuccus senticosis:
These two ingredients are the foremost nutrients used in memory improvement products as they are world renowned for improving blood circulation to the scalp.

These ingredients affect blood vessels that nourish the hair follicle within the scalp, vasolidate the blood vessels supplying the scalp as well as affecting the characteristics of blood delivered to the scalp.

The size of the hair follicle is a reflection of the blood vessels that supply it. So the more blood that is carried to the follicle the thicker the hair may be.

GROUP THREE – (ESSENTIAL NUTRIENTS)

Biotin, MSM, Equisetum arvense:
Shown to be superb hair nutrients. These three ingredients may be found in leading hair products available almost exclusively in salons as they have gained much respected recognition for improving the quality of hair.

Shampoos and conditioners that contain Biotin may be more effective than those that do not however Biotin’s absorption through the skin is limited. Tests have shown that Biotin’s effectiveness is increased by almost 80% when consumed instead of applied to the scalp.Methyl-Sulfonyl-Methane (MSM) is organic sulfur abundant in fresh fruits and vegetables.

The presence of MSM is supposed to induce formation of Keratin and other proteins. Equisetum arvense is rich in amino acids, phytosterols and silica which condition and strengthens hair. Silica is an important mineral that helps the body form collagen, which is instrumental in promoting strong healthy hair.

These nutrients are responsible for having the following effect on hair:

  • Promotes faster hair growth
  • Adds natural shine to hair
  • Enhances hair elasticity
  • Eliminates scalp itches
  • Regulates oil build up
  • Boosts hair strength
  • Pampers the scalp
  • Thickens hair

GROUP FOUR – (REGULATES OIL BUILD UP)

Zinc gluconate:
Responsible for the maintenance of the oil secreting gland in the scalp. Because Zinc gluconate has an active roll in protein synthesis and collagen formation it guards against dandruff.
